EXIF STUDIO
EXIF Data Editor: Edit JPEG Dates, Author & Copyright
Edit EXIF data locally: correct JPEG capture dates, add author and copyright details, or batch-edit photo metadata. Editing is free; image downloads are paid.
UpdatedImport a JPEG, open Edit, update the fields you need and apply changes. This EXIF data editor works in your browser without recompressing JPEG image data.
Why edit EXIF data?
- Correct capture dates: if the camera clock or time zone was set incorrectly, enter the right JPEG capture time for your archive. This does not change the image itself.
- Add credits: write author and copyright details into delivered photos. Platforms may strip metadata; these fields do not replace a visible watermark or proof of ownership.
- Organize a set: apply shared camera, lens or author values to selected JPEGs. Check only the fields you intend to edit, and keep original files as a record.
How to edit EXIF data
- Import your JPEG and inspect the original values in Overview and All metadata.
- Open Edit to change camera, lens, author, copyright, capture time or GPS.
- Apply and review the result. Downloading a copy requires sign-in and download access; keep your original file.
Which EXIF fields can I change?
The current writer uses EXIF ASCII for camera, author and copyright fields, supporting English, numbers and ASCII punctuation. The UI is bilingual and original metadata is displayed as stored. UI language support does not imply Unicode support for every EXIF field.
Writing is supported for JPEG. Viewing PNG or WebP metadata does not mean the same fields can be edited in those formats. To delete sensitive details, use the remover and choose the appropriate scope.
