How batch editing works →Before posting photos from home, school or a trip, check GPS, capture times and camera details. Choose a removal scope and keep the originals.
Understand removal scopes →Compare aperture, shutter speed and ISO to understand camera settings, or inspect location and author fields before sharing. Missing metadata cannot be recovered by the viewer.
Explore the EXIF data viewer →No. Parsing, editing and image generation run locally in your browser. Photos and edit drafts are stored in local IndexedDB to survive sign-in and payment returns. Use “Clear local workspace” to remove them. Account and payment APIs do not receive photos, filenames, EXIF or GPS.
Viewing, searching, EXIF edits, batch editing and privacy checks are free without sign-in. Sign-in and a download plan are required only for photo copies, cleaned images, photo cards and image ZIPs. Metadata JSON exports remain free.
JPEG supports lossless EXIF editing. Decodable formats such as PNG and WebP support viewing and cleanup by conversion to PNG. HEIC, TIFF and AVIF support depends on file contents and the browser. The per-file limit is 80 MB; batch size depends on device memory.
EXIF-only removal strips the standard JPEG EXIF block; XMP and IPTC may remain. All-metadata removal strips JPEG EXIF, XMP, IPTC and comments while retaining compressed image data and APP0/APP2, including ICC. This is the tool’s defined cleanup scope, not a forensic anonymity guarantee.
