EXIF STUDIO
Batch EXIF Data Editor: Edit JPEG Photo Metadata
Apply shared author, copyright, camera, lens, capture time or GPS values to multiple JPEGs locally. Only selected fields change.
UpdatedEXIF Studio updates the same EXIF fields across multiple JPEGs. Select photos, check fields and enter shared values; other fields stay unchanged. Editing is free; downloading copies requires sign-in and a plan.
Steps
- Open the workspace and import JPEG photos.
- Open Batch edit and select the files.
- Check author, copyright, camera, time or GPS and enter values. Checked blank fields are cleared.
- Apply and review changes, then download individual copies or an image ZIP.
Support and limits
JPEG supports lossless EXIF editing. Decodable formats such as PNG and WebP support viewing and cleanup by conversion to PNG. HEIC, TIFF and AVIF support depends on file contents and the browser. The per-file limit is 80 MB; batch size depends on device memory.
The current writer uses EXIF ASCII for camera, author and copyright fields, supporting English, numbers and ASCII punctuation. The UI is bilingual and original metadata is displayed as stored. UI language support does not imply Unicode support for every EXIF field.
Why edit EXIF data?
- Correct capture dates: if the camera clock or time zone was set incorrectly, enter the right JPEG capture time for your archive. This does not change the image itself.
- Add credits: write author and copyright details into delivered photos. Platforms may strip metadata; these fields do not replace a visible watermark or proof of ownership.
- Organize a set: apply shared camera, lens or author values to selected JPEGs. Check only the fields you intend to edit, and keep original files as a record.
